Dennis Wehrmann was born in Nurnberg Germany andgrew up in an area surrounded by several historic breweries. His grandfather owned the brewery Franken Braeu in Tanna Germany and his mom has a degree as a brewery lab technician and much of his family are either brew masters or work in the brewing business. After high school, Dennis worked at the Neumarkter Lammsbrau while attending Brewer School in Karlstadt. He graduated from the Doemens Brewmasterschool in Munich in 1999, and moved to the U. S. and worked for Two Rows Brewery. in 2007 he opened Franconia Brewery specializing in German beers.
